Donnetta Bishop-Johnson, owner of the Allegra School of Music and Arts, founded the Jonah Johnson Youth Scholarship Fund in 2010, following the tragic suicide of her 17-year-old son Jonah with the mission to raise funds for youth suicide prevention and mental health awareness, a cause that touches us all.
The proceeds from our fundraising campaigns go directly to My Son Your Daughter, The Jonah Johnson Youth Scholarship Fund, which is dedicated to suicide prevention and anti-violence educational organizations in our local school systems. The charity also provides funding for public school arts education and scholarships in the arts for post-secondary students.

Our foundation strives to strives to shine a light depression, mental health and suicide prevention. Furthermore, it illuminates the value of the arts and education in our community by providing college scholarships to children, since Jonah also loved the arts.
